The Sunday Pamper

Every Sunday I try my best to do a end of week (or start of week) pamper. It helps me unwind and feel prepared for the upcoming week.

One thing I try my best to incorporate, is face mask time. With the warmer weather, my skin has been feeling a little more oily than usual. Lately I've been using the Beautycounter+ No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask*. The charcoal and kaolin clay helps to draw out impurities and absorb excess oils.

After the face mask is ready to be removed, that's usually when I hop in the shower. This is when I like to exfoliate, and this week I'm cracking out the Herbivore Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish again. This scrub is incredible at leaving my skin feeling smooth and hydrated, without being too greasy. In addition to a body scrub, I like to use the Aila Pumice Stone on the feet. It's an easy way to keep the feet smooth without using scrubs that leave dangerously slippery oils behind.

After all this exfoliating, I can't forget to exfoliate the lips. The French Girl Organics Rose Lip Polish is one I like to use post-shower while my lips are little softer. I then like to follow up with the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm to further lock down the smoothness and also add hydration.

Usually this is when I'll make a cup of tea and paint my nails. I have been enjoying the Aila Nail Polish in Ms. Martin as it's a sheer, pale pink that evens out the nails. When painting my nails, I also like to take this time to use my Virtuvi Stone Diffuser. Currently I have been doing a simple blend of Frankincense and Lavender.
