My Bite Beauty Collection

Long time followers of mine know I'm a huge Bite Beauty fan. It was one of the first higher end lipstick brands I tried, and it continues as a dominant brand in my lipstick collection. Using food-grade ingredients, Bite Beauty lipsticks are good enough to eat. Considering how much lipstick we may unintentionally consume in a lifetime, I always appreciate healthier options just to be on the safe side.

I often get asked about my experience with Bite Beauty lipsticks, from shades to formulations. Since I recently cleaned out my entire makeup collection, I am now left with just my favourite products now. Today we're taking a peek at what's left in my Bite Beauty collection. These are the true gems.

My Top 5

Of everything I own by the brand, I was still able to narrow down five stand-outs. These are the ones that I recommend to everyone.

Their Amuse Bouche range is incredible. The lipsticks are creamy, hydrating, and pigmented. When recommending a nude, I always point to the shade Honeycomb first. It's a beautiful beige nude that is wearable and chic. For an everyday dusty rose, I personally love Pepper but Chai – a mauve brown – is certainly up there too.

As a matte lipstick lover, the Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Glacé is one of those perfect dusty mauve shades that I reach for time and time again. A more recent favourite is their Multistick in Almond. Their Multistick range is designed to be worn on the lips, cheeks, and lids. Bite Beauty really hit the nail on the head with this one, finding the perfect balance in the formulation to be dry enough as an eyeshadow or blush but still hydrating enough on the lips. Almond is a favourite for the lips and cheeks.

One of their newest products is their Lip Pencils, my current most used being shade 022. This rosey brown shade is recommended to go with their Amuse Bouche lipsticks in Pepper and Honeycomb. No surprise I love 022 then! I love that these are long wearing and comfortable to wear. Some days I'll just wear the lip pencil all over the lips and finish by tapping on some lip balm for a slight sheen.

Here's a quick guide to their Lip Pencil and Amuse Bouche pairings from Bite Beauty's Instagram. By the way, you could get a chance to win one the 022 lip pencil along with some other goodies by entering my re-launch giveaway

My Full Collection

The Amuse Bouche: Creamy, hydrating, and pigmented, the Amuse Bouche range is one of my favourite lipstick formulas. I own the shades Honeycomb, Pepper, ChaiRhubarb, and a mini of Gazpacho.

The Matte Crème Lip Crayon: I love a good matte lip product, and these Matte Crème Lip Crayons are fantastic. They're long lasting, hydrating, and the packaging gets an A+. The product extends and retracts, the lid snaps on tight, and there is a sharpener hidden in the end. I have the shades Léché, Glacé, and Aubergine.

The Multistick: The Multistick are designed to be used on the lids, cheeks, and lips. In wearable neutral shades, these are the perfect multi-use products. They're dry enough on the lids and cheeks, but hydrating enough on the lips. I own the shades Almond, Cashew, and Papaya.

The Lip Pencils: These lip pencils are fantastic on their own or used to line the lips. I own the shades 022 and 036.

The Agave Lip Mask: When a need a kick of hydration and still want colour, the Agave Lip Mask in Smashed is one of my go-tos. I also love wearing it on top of lip pencils.

This is all that's left in my Bite Beauty Collection! I have my eyes on the lip pencils and their Everyday Agave range. If there are any shades or other Bite Beauty ranges you'd recommend, please let me know!
