3 Tools for Flawless Foundation
Sometimes I find that the tools we use to apply great products can be overlooked. The pairing of tools and products really make a difference in the way a product applies and lasts throughout the day. Today I want to share three game changing tools I use regularly to apply my foundation that I just couldn't recommend more. They are essentials in my collection, and ones I will always have in my collection for that flawless finish on foundations.
The latest to my collection is the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush which I remember many people raving about back in the day when I first started watching YouTube and reading blogs. It is a Sigma best seller for a reason. The brush is perfect for blending in my liquid foundations, distributing product evenly and leaving a streak free finish. I usually dot the foundation my face, use the brush the brush to connect the dots, then blend away in a circular motion. And just a reminder, you can get 30% off the brush today using code SAVE30 at checkout on the Sigma online shop. Last day!
When I want a more sheer finish on a foundation, or just want to work in lighter layers, I always reach for my trusty beautyblender. Again, this is a cult classic for a reason. I tend to use this with my full coverage foundations to work in lighter layers to avoid that cakey finish. It can be a little tough to clean sometimes, but I've found that the beautyblender liquid blendercleanser* really does do the best job.
For powder foundations, I swear by the Tarte Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush. The dense and short bristles help me control where I place the loose powder. I work product in with this brush in a circular motion all over the face and it just gives a lovely natural finish. I have been wearing powder foundation applied with this brush almost every day recently due to the hot weather as I find powder foundations to hold up best throughout the day.
Which tools do you swear by for that flawless foundation application?
