Haul | New & Old By Tarte
As I always say, it is no secret that I love Tarte Cosmetics. They are a cruelty-free brand with plenty of vegan products that I am always eager to try. As a birthday treat to myself last month, I picked up more than enough products straight off the Tarte website (which ships internationally, by the way). I've been skipping most makeup this past month, so unfortunately I haven't tried these too much yet to properly review, but hopefully I will be able to share reviews soon. In the mean time, let's take a look at what I picked up.
I absolutely love the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed, and when the Naughty Nudes collection was released, I immediately wanted to pick up the three new shades. I ended up holding back by getting just two of three shades first. I picked up the shade Seduce, a rosy nude and Sensual, a golden nude. I'm so excited to give these a go as I have just been loving these sorts of nude shades. I always have been a natural makeup kind of gal, but recently I'm all about the natural blush shades. I put the two new shades with Exposed below to compare the tones of the shades. I'm definitely tempted to pick up the last shade, Risque, now.
In addition to my love for natural blush shades, I have also been loving matte eyeshadows. I caved and picked up the Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette. I was back and forth between this one and the Tartelette 2, but I decided I needed more mattes rather than shimmers. No regrets. I haven't tried all the shades yet but I've experimented a little with this so far and I've been impressed with every shade I've used.
On a whim I picked up the Tarte Aquacealer Concealer in Light Medium because I just wanted to try something new. I had heard great things about it, and though I adore the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and still have at least half of it, I was just tempted to switch things up. I still haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure I will soon enough.
For samples from my order I received the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Closeup Lash Liner in Black and the Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer. The liner I have not tried yet but the primer I have, and so far I would say it's quite good, though it is not nearly as impressive as the Dior lash primer I loved. The hunt for a new lash primer continues, though I will definitely still be using this up as it does add some volume.
