Haul | Samples From Sephora
I wanted to redeem my Sephora VIB Birthday Gift, and ended up with the product I had originally wanted plus some sample sized goodies I'm more than excited to try out. I know a lot of you are always eager to see what I'm testing out, so here are some of the goodies you may be hearing more about in the near future.
I had been wanting to try Ouai hair products for some time now, but there wasn't anything that I really needed. I'm trying hard to cut down on what I have so I really haven't made any unnecessary purchases in any category of beauty products over the past month or two. I did however notice that my hair was getting a little dry so what better time than now to get the Ouai Hair Oil which seems to be good for all hair types that need a little kick of nourishment.
I can't actually quite remember what spurred me on to try the Hourglass Opaque Rouge in Canvas but I did end up coming home with it despite not loving it two years ago when I first picked one of these up. Two years ago I picked up the shade Muse, a vibrant coral shade, for the summer but it went flaky on me and I just didn't love it. I heard that some shades do perform better than others so I'm taking a risk and trying out Canvas. I plan to report back with a short review of each liquid lipstick I have tried so far.
In case you don't already know, there are two options for the Sephora VIB Birthday Gift this year. There is one by Fresh and one by Marc Jacobs Beauty, and of course it was an easy choice for me as MJB is cruelty-free and Fresh is not. Included are minis of the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer and the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
I redeemed 100 BI Points for a sample of the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer in Mood Light. I also used a coupon code to get a deluxe sample of the Cover FX Illuminating Primer. I use to never use primers but now I'm going through a phase where I'm trying to see if there are any primers actually worth purchasing because they make a big enough difference. Again, I will have to report back on these ones.
Have you picked anything up from Sephora lately?
