3 Current Obsessions
There are some things I just haven't been able to get enough of recently that just bring a little joy into my otherwise stressful and busy life. Sometimes, the little things just matter.
I love starting mornings off with a good cup of tea, especially on weekend mornings. Lately I have been obsessed with the Tea Pigs Darjeeling Earl Grey. I was so surprised to have found Tea Pigs teas available in my local grocery store in Canada and while the selection is quite limited, I have found this delicious one to be addicted to which is good enough for now. It is certainly a stronger tea with the perfect balance between the taste of black tea and bergamot.
Tea isn't the only thing on my desk that keeps me happy. While ordering some of my favourite pens, I came across these adorable, colourful robot paper clips by a brand called Midori. Maybe I'm just a dork but as an engineering student who loves robotics, these were the perfect paper clips to inject some fun into my work.
Around my workspace I have been putting up Polaroid-style photos printed from the Fujifilm Instax Share Smartphone Printer SP-1. This is an absolutely brilliant device as it allows you to edit photos on your phone and send them over to this printer to be printed Polaroid-style. While the device itself wasn't cheap and nor is the refill film, it isn't too outrageous at it costs quite a bit to get the same effect printed online then shipped from companies. Plus, the quality is incredible and it is so fun to watch the photos develop.
