What to Pair With a Holiday Lip

If you're going bold this holiday season like I am, finding the right blush can be a little more challenging than you would expect. Sometimes, it's just best to keep it simple everywhere else to rock that bold lip.

Tarte Exposed is the one you can never go wrong reaching for. It's the sculpting shade that is subtly pink yet primarily a neutral. It gives shape and life to the cheeks, making it perfect for a bold lip or just everyday wear. As it is an incredibly long wearing and pigmented blush, just dust it on and party on. It's just a great no-fuss option, in my opinion.

For that rosy glow as if you've been prancing in the snow, try Tarte Natural Beauty. It's a bright one but applied lightly it gives that "pinched cheeks" look that goes beautifully with a bold lip.

Reserved for plum-toned and vampy lip days, I reach for NARS Sin. It looks a little scary in the pan as it is so dark and purple-toned for a blush but I can reassure you that a light application of this will go perfect with shades like MAC Rebel, MAC Plumful, or NARS Train Bleu just to name a few lip options. You definitely can apply too much as NARS blushes are pigmented so be careful as we're not going for bruised cheeks. Light skinned girls, don't worry. This works well for you too. Trust me.
