Review | The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter
This is an incredibly overdue review, considering that it has been mentioned in monthly favourites and even my first empties post. Nevertheless, this product deserves a good review sooner or later and today, it's finally up.
I'm terrible at applying moisturizer on my body but last July, I caught this Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter on sale for $5CAD and I thought I would give it a try. It's recommended for normal skin which I would say I have, on my body anyway. I found that this was definitely moisturizing but I didn't find it too thick or sticky. It absorbed into my skin well and fixed up any dry patches typically found on my knees or elbows. A little goes a long way and I tend to just dot the product over my limbs and massage it in. I personally think it's great for the spring and summer because it's so light yet moisturizing.
The scent is incredible but isn't too strong and doesn't linger for an awfully long time which I like in a body product. It genuinely smells of raspberries but I can almost smell a slight hint of floral in it as well. It's relaxing and uplifting, and I imagine it would be nice paired with a more florally perfume during the day.
I highly recommend this product but it's a limited edition scent for the spring/summer. Keep your eyes out for this in the sale baskets in The Body Shop because you may find it there.
These retail at $20CAD for 200mL of product but I got it for $5 and The Body Shop always has a sale going on.
