Huge Sephora VIB Sale Haul | Pt. 215.11.15
Last week I posted part one of my huge Sephora VIB Sale haul and today, I'm sharing the second part containing the items I ended up purchasing online. Yes, I went a little crazy with the purchases but they were all on my wishlist as I waited for this sale to come around. It was worth the wait.
For the longest time I had been wanting the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder and when it hit Sephora online, I almost immediately ordered it but I just couldn't justify the price tag. With 20% off, it wasn't nearly as bad so I went for it. I don't highlight every single day but every time I do, I really like it. I had been using the highlight shade from the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow and while I do love it, I've heard the Kevyn Aucoin offering is a little more suitable for everyday wear. We'll see.
Of course, I couldn't just get one makeup product. The Burberry Lip Velvet Lipstick in Nude Rose No. 405 was just too gorgeous not to get. Everything I've tried from Burberry so far, from products I own to products I've tested in stores, have been amazing. From the quality to the packaging, their products are just incredible.
I wanted to pick up another skincare product and the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask has been at the top of my wishlist. Clarifying masks are my favourite and the peel-off nature of this one was too attractive. I'm used to the Aesop masks which are true clay masks that require warm water to rinse off but this one just peels right off once it dries. It's a good excuse to relive those childhood days where we would put liquid glue on our hands and peel it off. Don't lie, those were good times.
In a recent video from Ashley, I discovered the fragrance brand Commodity. I had never heard of the brand prior to the video and immediate checked it out on Sephora. The Commodity Tea Travel Spray immediately caught my attention as it contains citrus, bergamot, and jasmine, just to name a few of my favourite notes. For 100 points, I also redeemed the NEST Indigo fragrance, a gorgeous warm, tea-like scent. It sounds like a winner for winter, but I have yet to try it out.
That's it for this year. Did you pick up anything from the Sephora VIB sale?
