October 2015 Favourites31.10.15
Ten month into the year already and as usual, the last post of the month is going to feature some of my favourites of the month. This October I kept things quite simple but there were certain stars in my minimal routine.
Newest to my collection is the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette, an incredibly natural looking and easy to use brow pencil that has proven to be worth every penny. It has a flat but wide nib that allows for precision when outlining the brows and quick filling. The waxy texture keeps the brows in place without feeling sticky and the colour is perfect for natural definition. Most days I have been keeping it simple by just focusing on the brows and lashes. On the lashes I have rediscovered the Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara which the first time I didn't love but this second time, I've grown to love it. I don't know what it is about the previous tube but this tube has a slightly drier formula that holds a curl better and really lengthens the lashes. I can get away with just two coats of mascara for a complete eye look.
From the BITE Beauty Best Bite Rewind I have been loving the shade Torte, a muted rose shade. It is bright enough that it adds a lot of life to the complexion yet it is neutral enough to be easy to wear with almost any look. It has been one to draw compliments, but not as much as the Nails Inc NailKale in Victoria which I have been repainting on the nails over and over. It is such a gorgeous vampy red that is opaque within two coats and maintains a glossy, chip-free finish for days.
And while I have really been trying to switch up the scents that I use, I keep coming back to my signature Chloe Eau de Parfum. It just fits any season and any occasion.
What have you been loving for the month of October?
