With final exams coming up, I'm trying to find a balance between getting all my studying and work done while remaining sane. I live a busy life, but sometimes I just need to slow down on a Sunday night and reset for the upcoming week.

Living a high stress life at the moment is giving me unwanted spots. The Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque is my go-to when it comes to a skin detox. I apply it all over my face as I work and leave it on for about 30 minutes, just a tad longer than recommended. It does dry out so to keep it activated for longer, I like to spray the LUSH Tea Tree Water over my face. The two do wonders at keeping spots at bay, especially during this time.

In the shower I'll treat myself to a scrub. Currently I'm using the Jealous Body Coconut + Coffee Scrub* for an invigorating yet relaxing treat. The coffee in it helps to stimulate blood flow and buff away dead skin while the coconut oil helps to nourish it. I love that it exfoliates my skin while moisturizing it at the same time, saving me time post-shower where I would normally have to moisturize.

Post-shower is Netflix time where I am currently finishing up Mad Men. This is time where I pour myself a cup of tea such as the Teapigs Darjeeling Earl Grey and start painting my nails. At the moment, I'm obsessed with the Nails Inc x Victoria Beckham in Bamboo White. It is so chic and lasts long enough throughout the week that I won't have to worry about it until the next weekend.

How do you treat yourself on a Sunday?

  1. I absolutely love the Tea Tree water, I've never thought of re-wetting my face while I have a mask on! Thanks for the tip :) I really want to try the Aesop mask, just waiting until I finish one of my current ones! :P

  3. Ooh I love the Aesop mask too! I usually put that on and then put on a moisturizing mask so it balances out... I haven't painted my nails in a while but might do so now that you've mentioned it! ;)
