Pretty In Pink12.2.15
Aside from makeup, I really don't go for anything pink. Pink gives the complexion life though and here just a handful of favourites from my collection that are mostly true pinks.
Starting with lipsticks, my current favourite is MAC Lipstick in Syrup. It's more of a dusty pink and is surely an everyday favourite of mine as it is so easy to wear and goes perfectly with my darker clothes and plum-toned cheeks. In the spring and summer, I tend to lean towards the coral tones. One I would recommend to everyone is the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Fig, a nude rose shade. For a true coral pink, I love the NARS Lipstick in Niagara. If you're looking for a sheer wash of pink and are willing to splurge on something a little more luxurious, I would say to go for the Dior Lip Glow.
When going for a lively pink look, the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Natural Beauty is the way to go. Described as a muted strawberry red, this blush gives a healthy I've-been-running-through-snow kind of flush to cheeks when applied with a light hand. On the slightly rare occasion where I reach for a pink-toned eyeshadow, I like to use the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP as a base.
In terms of tools, the Real Techniques Blush Brush is a staple as I reach for it every day for quick blush application. The shape of it really allows for precise application that can easily be blended out. Of course, the Beauty Blender must be a tool that pops into mind when on the topic of pink products. I still don't use it enough but I love it every single time I get the time to use it.
Unrelated to makeup but I couldn't leave out my signature perfume, the classic Chloe Eau de Parfum. There's nothing I like more than this and it is just the scent people tend to relate me to nowadays.
