February always goes by so fast. It's only a couple days shorter than any other month yet it feels like it's a whole week shorter. Funny how it feels that way.

I think it's obvious by now that I can't get enough of MAC Syrup. It is such a wearable everyday cloudy pink shade and because it is a luster finish, it is nourishing enough to battle the freezing cold weather, keeping my lips comfortably moisturized. One that also keeps my lips surprisingly hydrated is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu. You wouldn't expect a matte finish lip product to be comfortable on the lips but this one is and it is long lasting too.

Of course I can't mentioned just one NARS product in a post these days. The new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation quickly became my favourite as it gives the most skin-like full coverage without being cakey. It's an interesting consistency for me compared to other foundations I have used in the past as it is quite fluid and applies best with fingers but I've learned to work with it and love it.

I got back into the smudged, lived-in look of pencil eyeliners this month and thanks to the Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes eyeliner everything stays in place throughout the day. I tend to avoid pencil liners because they slip and slide during the day for me but I never have to worry about that with this one.

On the hair front, I've been absolutely in love with the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer. Forget the primer part of the name as I don't fully understand how it is a primer, but focus on the fact that it is an amazing leave-in conditioner. Even on my fine hair it isn't too heavy so I'm left with soft and nourished hair, not weighed down and oily hair that I dread. The full size of this will definitely be coming home with me soon.

What did you enjoy using throughout February?

  2. I enjoyed using my Smashbox Full exposure mascara in February, though in March I might have to get my hands on that MUFE Aqua eyes liner as it will stay in place. Is it good for tight lining the eyes?

  3. Great favourites! I really enjoyed using a few hair products, and my favourite lip was likely Buxom's White Russian gloss :)

  8. Love the new Nars foundation! Very similar in consistency to Loreal True Match but sooo much better!

The bumble primer is a primer as it helps coat your hair and protect it from heat and uv. It just so happens to have the famous invisible oil in it also which makes hair feel sooo soft! I'm so in love with it. And the smell!

  12. I don't have particularly watery eyes so I find that it is fine for tight lining. I imagine it should be quite good even if you do have watery eyes as it is suppose to be waterproof. xx

  14. I remember seeing that palette before and thinking, "how gorgeous is that?" I'm a bit of an eyeshadow palette addict though surprisingly I have gained self control and kept the palettes down to a manageable amount now. xx

  15. NARS Train Bleu is seriously the perfect vampy lip for me.
I haven't heard of Cerave products before but it sounds like I will have to look them up. xx

  17. I'm just so in love with the NARS foundation! Can't stop talking about it.

Ahh, I see where the primer aspect comes in now. I don't often heat style my hair and I don't stay outside long enough to see UV damage so I didn't see the difference the primer part was making. Agreed, it smells incredible as well. Always a great added bonus! xx

  18. If I could only buy from one brand for the rest of my life, I would probably settle with NARS. The brand just delivers! xx
