I've been experimenting with hair products recently and one in the bunch is the LUSH Sea Spray Hair Mist. This product aims to give a beachy look and can be used when you want to refresh, re-style or add some volume, texture and shine. It smells of orange flower, grapefruit, neroli and rosewood which I absolutely adore. The mix of citrus and floral really lifts my mood!

Personally, I like to use this on dry hair to enhance my naturally wavy hair. I usually gently braid my slightly damp hair before bed so that in the morning, I will have more waves in my hair than if I left it to dry naturally. To enhance the waves, the LUSH Sea Spray definitely helps but you definitely have to be careful with it. I noticed that the spray doesn't really mist into my hair evenly so sometimes, I get little crunchy parts or I'll notice those parts crumbling off in slightly white flakes which is not attractive. When I'm careful with it, this is great because it gives me volume and holds my waves well. Of course, you can use this as a hairspray as well but again, be careful with how much you use.

I do like this product and for the price, it's not too bad. I don't use it every day so I imagine it will last a long time for me. I would definitely recommend this product, especially if you have naturally wavy hair and if you like the smell of neroli.

Have you tried the LUSH Sea Spray?

  6. I love a sea salt spray, but I've not tried the LUSH offering yet. I tend to spritz a little, brush through to the ends, then repeat as necessary. Tends to help the awful patchy deposits of salt that happens with most sea salt sprays. You've convinced me to try this one though, as my Bumble & Bumble sample is coming to an end! xo

  7. I love sea salt sprays. They take my hair from looking like I slept on it weird, to looking like the waves are intentional.
