About six months ago, I caught a Boxing Day sale at Sephora and managed to pick this gorgeous product up for only $12 CAD. Regularly priced at $24 CAD, I couldn't say no when I saw the sale, especially because I had my eye on the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows for a while.

As you may be able to tell in the photo below, R.S.V.P. is a shimmery, pink-toned champagne colour. In the swatch, I layered the product on in two thin layers. With one layer, it's a nice sheer wash of colour but with two thin layers, it's already quite intense and it looks beautiful in all sorts of lighting, in my opinion. I have more yellow undertones in my skin and my friend who also has this particular product has more pink undertones in her skin and it looks good on both of us.

Benefit markets these as "creaseless" and claims that these are long-wearing and will not crease nor smudge throughout the day. I agree that they are long-wearing and that they don't smudge once they set, which doesn't take long, but I did notice a bit of creasing after an eight hour day at school. However, my eyelids do lean towards the oilier side like the rest of my skin so I wasn't surprised to see it crease. It wasn't very noticeable though and with a primer like the UD Primer Potion, the creasing problem is solved right away.

The creamy formula makes these cream shadows a great base for any powder eyeshadows but you need to work quite quickly because they will set. Although the product sets quickly, I've had this product for about six months now and I haven't noticed it drying out yet. I make sure I secure the lid well after using it each time and store it lid-side down.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows.
Recently, Benefit repackaged these though and I'm not sure if they reformulated the products as well.
I have yet to try the ones in the new packaging but I'm interested in trying out a couple more colours.
Perhaps I'll pick one up some time.

Have you tried any of the Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows?

    1. Use one up and then run out to get this one. Or drop a hint if your birthday is coming up. ;)

  3. I completely agree! The color is gorgeous but it definitely still creases on me! The color makes it worth it to put a primer on underneath! :)

    1. Definitely! I always have to wear a primer under powder shadows and most cream shadows anyway so I'm not too bothered by the fact that I have to wear a primer under this one.

  6. I've not tried any of the Benefit eyeshadows and I really want to. This looks amazing and such a pretty neutral colour with a hint of sparkle. Wonderful choice. x

    1. You should try them out! Birthday Suit is next on my list; it's more of a light brown with shimmer which is also a great neutral choice.

  8. I've always wanted to try this color it looks so versatile. I saw the newly packaged ones and the look so cute it's hard to resist! I guess I don't really need it though, champagney cream shadows are my weakness, have you ever tried the Rimmel shadow stick in bulletproof beige? It's really pretty!

I like brown makeup looks too. I only ever wear black liner but I saw a Pixiwoo video a couple of months back which was of a smokey eye look with MAC Constructivist Paint Pot and it looked amazing!
