‹ September Favourites ›29.9.12
With school being part of my weekly schedule again, I've been lazy and it's really been quite a slow start. I've been sticking to same few products skincare wise but for makeup, I've discovered a few new things and rediscovered an older product.
Essie Nail Polish in Chinchilly
I wore this nail polish for about half the month if not more.
I haven't been interested in much colour this month (which you will notice), so I just kept reapplying this on my nails.
It lasts quite well on my nails with no base or top coat (about 3-5 days) so I'm really enjoying this no-fuss polish.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe
I bought this cream shadow in spring, wore a few times, then neglected it because I didn't quite know what to do with it.
Early September, I remembered Estée from Essie-Button did a tutorial with this in January so I watched the video again.
I love that girl (check her blog & YouTube out if you haven't already) and I can't thank her enough for the tutorial.
Basically, use my ring finger to apply this all over my lids then blend the edges out with brush I'm about to mention.
Sometimes, I just leave it at that but sometimes I use shadows from my Stila In the Light palette and do what Estée does.
I love the staying power of these on my lids (no primer needed!), and it's so quick and easy to work with.

Eyeshadow Brush from Sephora's Izak Brush Set
This fluffy eyeshadow brush is perfect for blending out the edges of my cream shadows.
It's the perfect size for my eyes feels so incredibly soft.
The bristles are synthetic so it's easy to clean and the white tip helps to let you know how clean the brush is.
I absolutely adore the entire brush set but this is probably my favourite brush from it so far.

L'oreal Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Black
I finally ran out of my favourite UD 24/7 Liquid Liner and didn't want to fish out $20 for it so I decided to try this one out.
I'm still a bit on the fence about this liner but overall, it's good.
The staying power isn't as good as the Urban Decay liner but it's just as pigmented.
I found the brush to be a little hard to work with at first but I got used to it and now it's okay.
I'll probably do a review of it in the next few months.
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Damsel
This came with the Stila In the Light palette which I was quite excited about.
It's quite a dark brown that's easy to smudge but once it sets, it stays put.
I like to line my waterline or even smudge it on my upper lash line when I don't want the liquid liner look.
Like the UD 24/7 Liquid Liner, I'm going to be sad when this runs out.
